  4. People of the land often makes severe mistakes. It is not an accident that almost all the poorest countries in the world are in Africa. Africa only has 8 well run economies. Plus if a poll were done in Niger, I think it is probable that the Niger public wants more international enablers to resist Al Qaeda and Daesh.

The main international economic interest is to stabilize these poor regions and facilitate some economic growth so that tens of millions of migrants don't travel elsewhere. The main security interest is to keep Al Qaeda and Deash from conquering and ruling them.

  9. This won't work. Africa is very poor. Without urgent help, most of Africa is likely to be conquered, added to the global caliphate, and ruled by Daesh Al Qaeda. Africa is way too poor to pay for international equipment, logistics and contractors. Whether Africans would like it or not, Africans are in grave danger of external takfiri armies transforming their societies, bringing shariah, pushing girls back 10,000 years, bringing back slavery, suppressing STEM as HARAM etc. We see this in the areas sunni islamists currently control . . . such as Afghanistan.

Increasingly, however, the Pakistani Army is losing control over the proxies they created and these out of control proxies do horrible things such as the Kerman bombings a few days ago and the horrible things the Taliban is doing inside Afghanistan right now.

Even today African academica is controlled by French and global academia (which tends to be European intelligentsia, woke and marxist socialist). Any African who dares to criticize wokeness, socialism, communist and promote capitalism and globalization in Africa is instantly demonized by the European intelligentsia. Possibly removed from all social media, debanked (unable to have any financial account), put on terror lists so they can't go on airline flights, etc. This is how the French and Europeans purposely keep the Africans down.

Currently, Africa lacks the human capital, railways with low cost per ton km, roads, modern ports, electricity, telecom and sewage to harness this potential wealth. Almost all of Africa's natural resources are stuck under the ground or extracted with very high marginal cost. The cost of extraction would be vastly lower with large scale CAPEX. Many African countries develop many high quality brains. But these brains leave Africa. Over 90% of the millionaires in many African countries live outside their country of origin. One reason Africa encourages her best and brightest to leave Africa is because of socialism. If too many African brains stayed in Africa, they would sharply increase positive inequality by making too much money. Ghana is a perfect example of this phenomenon. Ghana has 34 million people. There are about as many Ghanaian doctors in New York city alone as in the entire country of Ghana. And this is New York city alone. Not even metro New York or New York state. Vast numbers of elite, upper middle class and rich Ghanaians live in other US cities and all over the world too. How would you dismantle socialism and implement globalized capitalism in Africa?

But for foreign FID long ago most of Africa would have been conquered and added to the global caliphate. The whole world owes the brave Sahel heroes a great debt of gratitude. By engaging and tying down the Takfiri there, they have spared the rest of the world a lot of violence and war. In the main few of Africa's natural resources are being efficiently exploited. Most are stuck under the ground. Africa could use a couple trillion dollars of CAPEX and R&D to massively increase African GDP.

One of the reasons for this is joint global military collaboration to provide for the global commons such as security. The world as a whole is generally a success story. However the world needs to come together as one and seamlessly fight jointly to push the Takfiri back.

Haiti's economy is almost completely dependent on repatriation, foreign grants, tourism and apparel. "rest of the world" means the rest of Africa, rest of Asia, rest of Europe, rest of South America, rest of Caribbean, rest of Central America, rest of North America. For example, Belgium got the wise idea to suddenly leave Congo in the early 1960s. Belgium left in a chaotic way. Almost every educated Congolese person left with the Belgians. Leaving all of Congo with only 3 Congolese government employees of the previous government and only 20 college educated people in the whole country of Congo. Obviously, Congo collapsed. Congo has never recovered from the catastrophe of the early 1960s. It would be best if African countries progressed from very poor countries to poor countries first, surged perfection, excellence, capacity, competence first; and gradually reduced dependency from foreign (other African and non African) powers. Independence comes from our own perfection, excellence, capacity, competence. How can it come from anything else? The 8 successful African countries all have very close friendships, de facto alliances and collaboration with other African and non African powers.
