  1. Rwanda got a lot of foreign help and used this help widely. Neighbor Burundi has a similar ethnic composition and population. Had a genocide of Tutsis at about the same time. Burundi was richer than Rwanda in 1994. Now Burundi is the poorest country in the world. Rwanda has been the fastest growing economy in Africa 1994-2023 and is an African lion economic miracle.

  2. How is Russia fighting the US military in Africa? Putin appears to want the US military to stay in Russian backed African countries to work with Russia and African countries and fight Al Qaeda Daesh. Russia, I think, does not want to be stuck with the entire burden of helping African countries fight Al Qaeda Daesh. This would be too much for Russia to handle, many Russians think.
