  1. I think before filing for divorce, do a divorce mock trial. Like get separated for like a year, and see if you actually miss each other. Maybe it was other factors that led to the stress and hatred. My uncle and aunt separated but remained legally married, and they got back together. That was 20+ years ago; they are going to retire in a beach town this year.
