  1. Did your Dad ever turn around and say "good job" at all? I mean cannot really argue with progress and results. Or are you guys still "no talk me, I angy" at each other for a couple of decades? There are mf's who tear you down on purpose, and then there are those who try to stop you from "pursuing your dreams" because they worry about your security. You cannot lump those 2 together blindly. And also, life is not that long and anything can happen at any time. Just saying.
