  1. Here's some tips for you guys: assume the worst, until they prove you wrong. Not the other way around. I assumed my love interest would never be interested in me, is an uncaring asshole, is a player, values work and everything above me, is a broke ass who cannot afford to send his potential children to university, etc etc. And I still like the bastard. But then he proved all of those assumptions wrong, so they become extra perks and not the foundation to the connection.
