You know what I think is really weird with the English language? Instead of saying "my wife is pregnant", the husband says "WE are pregnant". Like he is not physically pregnant or suffering, but get that title in spirits?? And also, "I give her a child", like BRO it's not a gift; it's a mutual agreement and quite frankly, huge responsibility. But I think such phrasings only exist in the US? As far as I know, UK doesn't phrase it like that.

@MVProfits In traditional Christianity, women are taught that they are objects belonging to men. I think in the vows state they must obey their husbands? And God has created them from men's ribs or something idk, to serve the men. So yeah, get brainwashed for a bit, and you don't have any self-worth too.
