  1. The gene for poor health + great intellect run in my family. Since I was a wee child, my Mom hasn't put pressure onto me to achieve. Just that I tried my best. (Pretty sure my parents thought I was a bit slow since I was very non-expressive lmao). I think "trying your best" is very freeing since it is curated to you. It could be studying at 20 min intervals instead of 2 hours like everyone else. Or sleeping 10+ hours to feel remotely existable, instead of pulling all nighters. All parents should do that so no matter what conditions the child has or does not have.
