  1. Apparently, the BM-59s featured a very effective muzzle device that made recoil manageable. I don't know if it's AR-10 levels of manageable, but it should be close given the higher weight in comparison. Either way, most militaries would soon learn that a full-auto .308 firing rifle wasn't too smart of an idea.
