While we're still on the subject of Glock mag limitations: that baseplate retention design is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen on a pistol mag, and it's all for the purposes of preventing spontaneous baseplate separation. Y'know, that thing that never happens. Anyway, enough dogging on Glock mags. In general, I think they're pretty great and offer smaller gun makers a unique opportunity to skip one of the hardest parts of gun design, which is magazine design. Taking advantage of all the R&D someone else did can be a huge boon if you're able to work around the inherent limitations.
