  2. .45, for all its "stoppin' powa", is an incredibly slow moving round with awful penetration. You're gonna need more than that to deal with wildlife. Still, I wouldn't be caught dead with a pistol for that purpose... Or rather, I guess I would if I was foolish enough to use one.
