  1. Ilya is ABSOLUTELY correct in what he tweeted, his analysis of the controversy and his apology for the poor wording. He did EVERYTHING right and got crucified for it. Unfortunately this has been going on forever. My sympathies. I am of the firm belief that when one door closes another opens. Sooner or later. Going just by this video (I don't know this guy) Ilya seems decent. I believe he'll be fine. Hang on for your "good" Ilya. 👍 I disagree with those who advise against apologizing. It WAS poor wording. There's nothing wrong with admitting a mistake. Not recognizing mistakes is the problem.

  3. Any nation that wishes to join NATO is free to attempt it. Who gives a f*ck what Russia wants? Putin and all the autocrats aren't to be trusted. And we KNOW appeasement doesn't work so why bother?

  6. Putin invading Ukraine is nobody's fault but Putin's. That's it. Full stop. It's not complicated. So all this BS about it being NATO's , the US, Zelensky's, whoever's fault is just that, BS. "He made me do it" is playground, grade school baloney. We don't let our kids get away with it (responsible parents anyway) so why let, ostensibly, adults? It defies logic. Grow up.

  10.  @btrswtluvltr  I disagree. Taking issue with Biden's statement was reasonable and warranted. "Lesser black woman" was the problem and he copped to it and apologized. Making it more than that is disingenuous and hyperbolic. I get that that's where most people live these days but that doesn't make it right. I am marginally with you. If everyone stopped and considered all their words... well, there would be a lot less talking. Which I'm all for. 👍
