  2. What I need is to hear less about TSMC. The idea that only they, and by extension Taiwan, can fabricate chips is beyond ridiculous. If Taiwan disappeared tomorrow the world would be fine. We'll just build a chip plant somewhere else.

  5. The current situation is all on Xi. He's backed himself into a corner. As China's economy collapses he HAS to make a play for Taiwan or lose power. He can no longer depend on the idea that life will get better and better so it's nationalism or nothing.
