  1. NASA? The absolute record is 135,000 feet, made by Alan Eustace in 2014. A private project, financed by himself, not NASA, not any company. Behind that is Felix Baumgartner, who jumped from 128,000 feet in 2012. Red Bull project, not NASA. These russians here jumped from only 35,000 feet - but to the north pole.

  2. They say "fish eye lens" and they are right. I mean, they are only 35,000 feet high, I hope you don't think that you see any curvature from that low.
