Where would be the point in CGI? Do you really think that the reason for the telescope is producing nice looking pictures for the public? LOL. The target group are scientists, all over the world. They use the data. You can book the telescope.

It is so funny when God believers argue against the Big Bang theory (and I have the impression you mean "atheist scientists" when you say "your theory was wrong"). I am not sure if you know that the Big Bang theory mainly was developed and presented by an astrophysicist, who also was a christian theologist and priest. It was critisized by some scientists back then who said, that the big bang theory was biased, and not neutral. So basicly they said that the big bang theory was made up by christians who were looking for a theory that matches with their belief. The big bang theory says, that about 14 billion years ago the universe started to expand, from an infinite small point. It was the beginning of time and space. The inventor of the big bang theory saw it at the moment of creation. While some atheist scientists back then thought that there was no beginning. And no, it is not guessing. It is observation and math. We see that the universe is expanding. Or do you have a better theory for the red shift? And it makes sense that when we see it expaning now, that it always expaned, and so there was a point in the past, when the entire universe was packed together.
