Russia will never become weaker. Stop your naive fantasy now. Russia is not your enemy. Europe's stellar economy and high standard of living are in part due to the subsidies from Russia in the form of deeply discounted energy prices. Why do you think China wants to split EU and USA? China couldn't care less. None of their deals are dependent on pitting one against another. Their strategy has always been for a Win-Win Cooperation.

If you religiously believing that a leader should only be in-charge for fixed terms , regardless of merits / demerits, it is what you'd get in EU and the US, creating instabilities from overturning policies of predecessors. Of course, I respect your believes, just as much as I respect systems of others.>> In many western systems, there are politicians with extended terms. Some even have unlimited terms. In most countries, the leader is not directly elected by the people. Furthermore, they have bureaucrats who weld lots of power, but are neither elected nor have a limited term. To think that the western system is more democratic than a system that they know nothing about, is laughable.

China has already shipped multiple loads of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Please do not willfully ignore that. FYI, China has lots of investments and joint ventures in Ukraine. China has sent many students to Ukrainian Universities.

Let's look at the simple logic -- Why does China need Taiwan? -- China needs Taiwan as a supplier to feed its factories. It would be foolish to invade Taiwan because of TWO inescapable outcomes: 1. The factories in Taiwan will collapse because of sabotage or destruction. ie Without supplies from Taiwan, the Chinese factories will have to stop as well. 2. The sole purpose of the Chinese factories is to sell products to the west. If a war breaks out, the west will stop buying. ie The Chinese factories will have to stop as well. If the chinese factories stop, what are the people going to eat? There are 1.3 billion mouths depending on the factories. You cannot eat ideology. China needs Taiwan and Taiwan needs China. This is the brutal reality. They have been living a peaceful symbiosis relationship for decades. All this war rhetoric is beyond logic, but the simpletons love american war propaganda.

Bringing up "De-Risk" as a topic is silly. And De-Risk is non-sense as a new strategy. Business people De-Risks every day, on every project, with every business partner, and in every transaction. Trading is not a charity: You always buy from the best overall deal, and you always maximize your profit on every sale. Don't tell me you only started to de-risks now.
