This is the difference in methods between USA and Russia. USA would have sent in the NED to create a color revolution, and let their own people beat themselves into pieces.

re: EU countries can pay for gas with rubles. it won't be long before they start to lift the sanctions one by one. The americans will do the same. They did not want to live with russia in peace, they got their wish. Now they are regretting. But it is too late. This war has set the EU economy back a few notches. It is time to fire Jens Stoltenberg.

Germany is the most industrialized of the EU countries, they will suffer the most from gas shortages. They currently still have a stockpile of natural gas, but they will soon run out. You can see more changes in tone/tune in the coming weeks.
