  1. If Germany had re-opened the Nord Stream, the rest of Europe would have jumped onboard as well. That would have left UK the odd man out.

  2. You know why the west are so quick to contain the Poland missile incident -- Not only no one has enough ammunition to fight WW3, but If US gets involved, it will open a window for China to make a move on Taiwan. It will not be a pretty scenario.
