What is even more devastating and more cruel than WW3 is, the cold hard fact that Germany will NEVER return to the pre-invasion glory. Not for a hundred years. No amount of American (or any foreign) oil and gas can replace the plentiful, reliable, and deeply discounted Russian energy. Without cheap Russian oil and gas, German manufacturing is simply not competitive. Without cheap Russian oil and gas, Germany's GDP will become the peers of Poland. Say goodbye to the 35-hr work weeks. Say goodbye to the 6-wks paid vacation. It has been a good run while it last. Russian subsidy is no more. Germany's subsidized prosperity is no more.
