  5. it will be good for EU to take ukraine; they can pay for the rebuild. Nah, what hypocrisy, the EU could have accepted ukraine years ago, but they did not. Why now? Because of 2 reasons: fast tracking ukraine will prevent russia from taking over the WHOLE ukraine. Most importantly, ukraine cannot be a dirty money laundry machine anymore, so it is a good time to bring ukraine into "law and order".

  7. I believe originally Putin only wanted to protect the Russian-speaking people in the Donbass region. Then the whole west heaped on Russia, so Putin might as well go a bit further. Now the sanctions and seizures have gone so bad, I won't be surprised if Putin is going to take the whole Ukraine. There is no point in doing a half-ass job. A divided ukraine will only bring more headaches later on. Fast tracking ukraine into EU is only a theatrical performance; they have no sincerity at all. If they wanted to accept Ukraine, they would have done that a long time ago.

  10. EU is just a pig trough. Lawyers love it. EU spent more time and money on administration and arguing than on actually doing something useful for the people. China is pulling ahead, and they blame China for pulling ahead.
