  2. poland is bearing so much irrational old grudge against the old Soviets, that they have fogs in their eyes. They cannot see clearly their future in the new world. Their bitterness is debilitatingly dysfunctional. It has been 30+ years now, yet they cannot liberate themselves from their internal anger and resentment to move forward into the new dawn. The soviet is long gone; poland embraced the west, but is the west embracing poland? I afraid not; poland is treated as a pariah, the fringe 2nd class citizen in the east. They are good as supporting suppliers to the german factories.
