  4. @ This is where they digress. They do not worship party politics. Take the American system as an example, inside the Republican Party, there are people on the right, there are people in the middle, and there are people who lean toward the left. People's opinions are not homogenous although they are in the same party. The same is true on the Democrat side. In other words, the whole spectrum of opinion is represented by the parties. If so, then why polarize the people by drawing a line in the middle? In the Chinese system, when someone joins the government, he swears to serve the people. There are people coming from the left, there are people coming from the right, and there are people in the middle. Everyone's opinion is represented. No divisive party politics is needed.

  9. @ In Xinjiang, the road signs are trilingual: Uyghur, Chinese, and English. So as most of the signages everywhere. When you board a plane to Xinjiang, the announcements are also made in 3 languages. If you have travelled there, you will find many older people who do not speak Putonghua, only Uyghur or Kazak. I don't know where you get the idea of forced sinicization.

They do not allow fake news, innuendo, agitation, defamation, etc. People have nothing bad to say against their govt because they have a hotline to report any problems, and the govt takes immediate action to correct anything that is not right.

  16. A lot of people are in denial because the media has been filtering the information. Also, the media has been portraying China in a negative light. I watched this video about China helping Cambodia to build a canal. The narrative invariably goes on a tangent to the "China Threat" theory. A new dock is built. The host continues to say it is big enough to accommodate the Chinese Navy. What imaginative minds they have !

They dance on the street. They have 24,000 mosques. They are happy and prosperous. I don't worry what you think of them.
