  1. The software industry is in the worst recession in over a decade. It's very hard for even senior devs to find a position. And forget finding an entry level position. Why is Dave Farley regurgitating this myth? I'd guess he's telling mangers what they want to hear. Management always wants the labor market skewed in their favor. What we have right now is a shortage of opportunity.
