@neoasura um, Australia has crime too, what do you think it's some kind of eden? wake up. while those two incidents you mention are very unfortunate you act like that happens 24/7 on every public transit vehicle. Those incidents are rare. Evil people will always try to prey on others, one way or another. That doesn't mean that the majority of public transit modalities aren't safe.

That's really sad. God what tf is happening today? In the 80s/90s/early 00s the malls were vibrant and fun. Seating was everywhere and not a security guard in sight unless there was a problem. I don't know what's happening today. Some kind of mental sickness. I hope it passes soon is all I can say.

@KILLKING110 being light on crime just means being humane on misconduct or alleged crimes and not being draconian and cruel to somebody just because they're poor or made a minor infraction. Get it right. Or maybe we should lock everybody up for life for jaywalking. Would that make you feel better?????

HOW IS THAT NOT A CRIME!?!
3
😂💀 It's a uh... It's uh... Like a squirrel thing

Isn't that a pity? Mandatory parking minimums need to be made illegal now! They are asinine, counterintuitive, harmful to businesses and customers alike, and wasteful! It's literally wasted space.
3
@DylanBegazo I want them illegal everywhere.
2
Lol 90% of sales of anything is marketing. It's wild.
2
No it isn't it sucks for all the reasons stated here and more.
2
@Bobrogers99 unless the brand is great value, I always like the store brand better. Always. I find virtually no difference.
2
They look awesome but I don't got the money for something like that. It's a pretty novelty but that's it.
2
HOAs are criminal and evil. They need to be made illegal.

@DylanBegazo HOAs are criminal.. why??? How are they not!?! Can't believe they have been normalized! This offends me on every level. Suburban white-gloved thuggery!

@westernartifact4163 I'm very left and I want hoa Jenna Side

Until we force businesses and our municipalities to be zero waste, nothing will change. Individuals won't change anything. We need local municipal and state policy for real change and poverty reduction. It's starts from the top.

Couple things for me: I find that actually the cheaper rougher texture toilet paper works best for me. If it's too thick or soft I don't find it as effective. So long as it isn't too too thin I do usually prefer cheaper tp rolls. Secondly I have a way to stretch my toilet paper and minimize my usage, okay this is going to grow some of you out but I literally reuse as much toilet paper as I can. There I said it! Now don't get me wrong if the toilet paper is filthy from a first wipe on an extremely dirty go, it's going in the trash or down the toilet. But if it's only lightly used then I put it in this special receptacle and I reuse it again later. Then I either sanitize or wash my hands. I know it sounds a little gross I've had but I mean it's better for the environment and better for my budget. I highly recommend it! Thirdly: NO OLD GROWTH OR VIRGIN TIMBER SHOULD EVER BE ALLOWED TO BE USED FOR TP MANUFACTURER. EVER! IT SHOULD ALL HAVE TO BE RECYCLED OR FROM NEW TIMBER IN HIGHLY RENEWABLE LOCATIONS! GAHHHHH!!!!! I HATE THE THOUGHT OF TREES BEING DESTROYED FOR THIS!! So even if it means we have to pay more I believe that all TP should have to be from recycled sources, young new trees, and we should come up with non-traditional TP material alternatives asap!!

Big factss

I agree. I don't see how we're going to protect wild species without maximizing fish farming. Is there another way?
1
I've always just bought my cars secondhand from human people or family and have never had any problem lol.
1
I will never pay more for a brand version unless I've tried both of them and that one is perceptively better. But almost in all cases I will go with the off-brand or the cheaper version and I've never regretted it! 😂 Neither has my wallet.
1
I'm willing to buy a used car from a used dealer (after doing my homework) but not a new one. I don't need to pay twice as much just go get something new. I want to save big $$$ and get something that still looks just as good as new and works just as well.
1
@someguy2135 I'm afraid that's not the answer but of course it is your prerogative to eat how you prefer. I prefer an animal-based diet with nuts and greens.
1
@someguy2135 corporate animal agribusiness is a big problem but sustainable and holistic farms create healthy local ecosystems and better quality meat. I think greens are excellent but I have to support healthy natural traditional farming.
1
@someguy2135 rewilding is super important but animals both domestic and wild are necessary for that to happen.
1
@someguy2135 well I believe that ruminants animals, apex predators and domestic species are very necessary to the health of an ecosystem. To me this is very clear.

Listed??

@tcraigh1 oh! So it was demolished?? If so that's lame! That's bad. Parking garages are good.... Unless it's going to be replaced by housing or idk... A Stargate or some shit.
1
Pretty sure it's time to ban all private bottled water companies. Just ban the whole industry.

Yes????

This country is a tyrannical shithole in so many ways.

Someone needs to take on HOAs up to the supreme court. No such entity should EVER be allowed to operate freely. They are the definition of crime imo

100%! You will NOT find a more exploitative unethical anti-public corporate-serving first-world nation as the US. The way we are managed here is shameful in my eyes . We are 100% bought and paid for and by the large corporation and this has had disastrous effects over time in all sectors. Co-ops do exist here but they are a tiny tiny tiny tiny sliver of the economic sector. Hopefully over time they will grow but yes they are barely a presence here at the moment. I frequently call this a corporate dystopia hellscape. It's a little overdramatic but I feel both accurate and apt. Some of its in federal policy, a lot of it's at the state level, and quite a bit happens at the county/regional level. Don't know if there's anything I could possibly do in my lifetime to push back against corporate power and its unlimited spread but I hope so. I would LOVE to get regulations passed that limit their spread, acceptance, growth, power, and ensure they receive absolute last priority in being granted new building permits in any municipality. God I would love that. I see nothing good about a large corporation nothing. I'm willing to hear counter-arguments but I don't see a goddamn thing good about those tumorous cancers. NONE! Pretty much everything about them is ass for their workers, our communities, the other local small businesses that they degrade or put out of business and even many of their suppliers. ONLY their shareholders benefit. They are CANCERS. If it were up to me the large corporation would be dead. I would allow companies to grow up to a certain amount say maybe 100-125 national locations but that's about it. Absolutely no more. I really wish this were possible.

@aBirdAndHisBoy 70,000 for special stitching?? Top level or no that's just nuts now 😂
1
Well let's repurpose them with housing and community centers than if they won't revive them.
1
everything that's happened in the past 80 years in this country regarding how we live and our urban development disgusts me. I hate all of it. I hope we spend the next 100 years undoing ALL of it and doing the exact fxcking OPPOSITE.

I thought there were small portable non-permanent bidet attachments

HOAs are criminal and pure EVIL. They are the literal definition of organized CRIME. They are ruthless, criminal tyranny and open robbery. There is NOTHING that should be legal about them!! These are criminal syndicates allowed to control our neighborhoods. What is going on??!?!?!?

Soy? Really??? 🙄

I use Zero water filtration countertop canisters and it seems to work really well. For a relatively modest initial investment and the ongoing price of filters which isn't too terribly bad it seems to do a great job of filtering out my tap water which doesn't seem to be of very high quality. I would recommend them and other brands like them.
1
I don't know how these huge dealers stay in business tho???? You're paying way way too much just to buy a car from a pretty place. I don't get it.
1
Lol... As if eliminating any kind of straws is gonna save the planet from 1000s of tons of plastic every year. Don't you love these kinds of bogus distractions that intentionally don't solve the problem??? That's the name of the game of politics.
1
Ha ha ha DMV so trueee. Been to at least three separate dmv offices in former or aging malls 😂 I do hope we find a good second life for these spaces though. No need for them to fall into ruin.
