I know that some would criticize me or call me naive for believing the following, but I think the Squad are realizing fast that the establishment is nothing to be enamored of or seek the approval of. And you can call me naive but I think they're very close to being totally done with feeling like they still need to make nice with the old guard and being 100% ready to stop apologizing for who they are and to be fully outspoken about what they want. Sometimes it takes time for the scales to fall from the eyes. They thought they could be diplomatic and work with them; and they will learn from experience that isn't going to work anymore, if it ever did. I think they're almost ready to walk away from anything NP has to say, and once they do, they'll feel very good about themselves and it will be like leaving an abusive and dysfunctional relationship. I'm waiting for that and I believe it's coming.

@BigMikeGuitar yes but those are faux-progressives. I believe the squad and a few others are very close to being willing to cross that line with the corpDems and stop giving any fucks. We just need more of that. Have to have people with guts and the ability not to be affected by threats, empty or otherwise. Either were tougher, or they are. I mean sure there are sellouts, but they were never true Progessives if they are. You either are in it for others and your principles or you're in it for yourself. If you're only really in it for yourself you wouldn't call yourself a progressive anyway, or if you did you didn't mean it or didnt know what the word is supposed to mean.
