I really hope so.

But what's your suggestion then? Who's your alternative? do you have a better solution? I get why you're frustrated but being frustrated isn't enough. She might be our best chance going forward that can actually get a seat at the table. I have a feeling she wishes she could be more radical and more outspoken but she's been getting advice not to be. She's worried about putting off normies, casuals and people who are very uninformed when it comes to anything political. If you don't at least want to give her a chance, then what's your plan? or are you just complaining? Complaining without an action plan gets us nowhere. Do you have any alternate suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.

While that would be amazing to see, she doesn't have the name recognition enough to even have a chance of winning. Plus no matter when she runs you know for a fact the DNC would be out of full force against any progressive candidate, so there would always be that to deal with. Perhaps in the future, but as I'm sure she would tell you herself, the time for that is not now. Being another Progessive voice in Congress isn't nothing, every voice helps. She could run for governor of Ohio, however, if she doesn't win this race. State races are just as important as federal if not more so in some ways.

@burneraccount I completely agree but I doubt they'll be viable and able to crash through the Berlin Wall of the two dominant parties by 2024. But I'm not saying we shouldn't try. The sooner started, the sooner hopefully it can become viable. In the meantime we're still left with the age-old dilemma; vote for one bowl of s***, or two.

@burneraccount it's not going to be a contender in 2 years so then what? Are you capable of thinking in functional tangibles or do you just want to sit around thinking about ideals?

@burneraccount look I want multiple parties now but I'm also a realist. Let's work towards the future and do what we have to until we get there.

@burneraccount probably. You do know that our best bet is local and state right??? DC is for Wall Street and the war profit industry and I don't see that changing in our lifetime.

@sullen2420 It is pretty shameful if the CPC wont come forward and endorse her. Certainly makes them look pretty insincere to me. I still believe in the Squad, tho probably not the rest of them (CPC), I believe they're doing the best they can with all the pressures that are on them and the experience to have so far. A strategic presidential run certainly has value especially as there's a growing Left / progressive movement in the US. Well it would be up to her; I mean if she's up to dealing with all that pressure and attention. If Bernie is really serious about a third run in 2024 I would think she's already talking to him about his VP spot. I guess we'll have to wait and see. State politics are important too- she could try to be in Ohio State Assembly Senator or Ohio's governor. There's a lot of corrupt crap that happens at the state level and a good person could at least try to interrupt some of that. Being a force within a state's political power structure has a lot of value as well.
