While it was good to marginalize the Taliban because they are no one's friend and because they're crazies who don't deserve any real quarter, what our agents did from that point on was nothing but exploit that place. We could have left it 500% better than when we found it, but we didn't- we left it much much worse. I never blame the boots on the ground for this they just took orders, they can't see the broader picture etc. But if you do some deeper reading you can see how many human rights crimes and deep economic exploitation that the CIA and US corporate interests committed there.

I believe she's proved herself to be nothing but a 100% self-serving opportunist. I understand where you're coming from tho. I'm "only" 40 so I didn't experience what you older folks experienced but at this point in my life from what I can see is its as you said, it's the elites and their loyal servants in both parties against the rest of us. Perhaps you'd like to join me on the enthusiastic hard Left? May I recommend some channels? Actually I'm not trying to promote myself but if you check my channel I have all the channels I'm subscribed to listed. A third of them are hard Left political channels. I DO believe it's possible to have a simple and ethical government that works of, by, and for the people but I WILL go to my grave defending that no fucking way in hell is that going to come from the duopoly. Which means we're going to have to start from scratch in building a genuine Left unified organic people-first independent third party in this country. We already have some left parties actually, and my recommendation is to combine them all in what I would call a Left Unity party and then take on the Goliath of the duopolists at each level (local, state, federal). The only agenda 99.99% of Dems and 150% of Republicans have today is selling themselves to the highest bidder, which is Big Business and Wall Street. NOTHING else matters to them. If they were given five dollars to cut their own mother's throat they would do it without thinking twice. So long as they felt that would benefit their likelihood of staying in office come reelection time and/or set them up to be the beneficiary of reliable further bribes.   29. I agree that all federal taxes should be voluntary, at least up to 400K. They are owned and work by and for the corporations and wall street, let those monsters pay for the services they're getting period. I have no desire to and I never will even if they put a gun to my head.
