  1. I hope in my lifetime we fix all these problems. They are EASILY fixable for those who wish to do so. We have MORE than enough in this country to meet everyone's basic material needs, just no systems or legislation set up to do so.

  6. The number ONE responsibility of government should be to meet every citizens' basic material needs before anything else. This can be accomplished a variety of ways but it should be done. Nothing else should matter until this is achieved. Imagine if we had a government that actually lived by that.
