Maybe with Tesla's supposedly destroyed research by the FBI in 1948. He claimed to have found free energy. I'd love to know if that's true.

  2. I'm radical by saying ALL CORPORATE PROFITS SHOULD BE SOCIALIZED. IDGAF WHAT INDUSTRY. MAKE THOSE PARASITES PAY. I'll suggest a 35-65 split. 35% for them, including workers, who deserve at least a 50-50 split of that portion, and 65% for the nation at large, broken down into equal checks for all sub-120K households.

  7.  @megacide84  indeed. Well I do not for one want to see self-driving trucks, even if they are perfectly capable of not running off the road. The real solution to this problem is for all those fuckassed greedy bosses to DOUBLE all current pay and benefits and watch a million more people flock to the Industry overnight. Make it a job worth having. It's too bad this won't be legislated, as I would force it into law tonight if I could. But that's what a Socialist country would do, which is of course, the opposite of what we are. We are the United States of Corporations, and don't we forget it. If this was done, as I would like to see, then all truckers, new and old, would gain and so would the rest of the country- more truckers means a stronger supply chain which is the bedrock of everything else. But nope, the greed of the corporates would rather spend millions to invest in robot trucks instead of giving that money to workers. Shame! This is why I say we NEED laws to come down on the corporate class hard, because they will NEVER do the right thing without it when money is involved. I'd like to believe they would, but almost all of them won't, and they show that each and every day. They fight tooth and nail to pay workers as miserly as possible and it's disgusting. Too bad we don't have any laws that actually put workers first.

Unfortunately, the two corrupt corporate lapdog parties make this very hard, to no one's surprise. They have all kinds of voter suppression and election suppression techniques that they have honed down to a science by now. But we'll keep fighting and eventually we'll get there. Just tell all your uninformed trucker buddies- if you're gonna vote, Dems are crap, but the GOP will ALWAYS FUCK YOU. Once in a blue moon the Dems might do something to help you. Only Progessives might fight for meaningful changes for the working class, but it's no guarantee they will fight hard enough or succeed. Still, best of the three choices. The fourth, real Socialists, are only now just starting out seeking offices at the local, county, state or federal level. If there's one in your area, you should highly consider giving them your vote. So that's where we're at. To me it's clear for anyone who works for a living why only Leftists make sense from any logical or moral worldview, but it's everyone's choice to decide for themselves.

  12.  @megacide84  I don't think we're they're yet. A lot of people love the trades, but they aren't being rewarded enough in pay, security and benefits. With politicians who cared about workers, this would change.
