  1.  @charlenek11  yes it's good when gerrymandering gets rejected, but it's not good when that's used as an excuse to openly suppress and oppose third-party participation.

  3. I consider myself a civil libertarian, and agree with this gentleman on most what he has said so far. Unless they're a rabid Nazi, I want to see ANYONE get into office who is outside the filthy hypocritical hyper-corrupt hyper-fortified duopoly establishment at this point. The dominant two parties have failed us spectacularly. On a federal level they can't even protect and recognize a woman's basic human right to be the final authority over own body and life. That should have been the easiest, most no-brainer, most dead-brain, lay-up issue for Democrats since EVER. at a minimum under Obama when he had the veto-proof majority for those first two years; it could have been handled then. As a woman I find it completely unacceptable and unforgivable that they've allowed it to get to this point. ( It's not even issue that should be up for DEBATE in government. It shouldn't even BE a public issue, I find it stunning and unacceptable that it is, and yet here we are. I understand some may find the concept distasteful, they liken a fetus or zygote to a born child or full adult, I understand and acknowledge that, but it is still a PRIVATE choice and it will never NOT be that and NOBODY has the right to rule over that choice other than the pregnant woman involved.) We need nothing BUT third and other parties at this point to replace these absolutely good-for-nothing useless, feckless trash and conscienceless GOP hyper-scum if we are going to have any hope of a collective stable, hopeful future. If and when that happens, it's going to take DECADES to undo the damage the two-party machine has caused/ allowed to happen under their watch since basically ever. It's going to be /extremely/ difficult to break through the duopoly wall at any level but I DON'T believe it's impossible.

  4.  @jonathanhoweforcongress9699  appreciate that, John. Perhaps we wouldn't agree on everything, but I appreciate sincere candidates from outside the duopoly who stand behind their values. Sorry to hear NY screwed you over. Not very surprising, unfortunately.

  5. Not at all, and it's a naked attempt to suppress all third parties, right or left, which want to challenge the corrupt establishment hacks and thugs. If we're ever going to have a better democracy in this country, we need at least some form of a multi-party system. The duopoly leaders are willing to do everything to prevent that from happening on the federal or state level. So while I want to see more hard Left alternative parties take center stage, I also oppose this action because it harms all third parties by design. and while I wouldn't vote for a right-wing third party, they have the same right as anyone else to compete on a fair playing field.

  6. I'm not walking away from AOC yet, but this doesn't sound right. More two-party duopoly corrupt electioneering. I guess every party is 100% out for themselves and with no binding laws against obvious gerrymandering or naked attempts to purge third party candidates from the ballot, this will just continue. We live in a banana republic for sure.
