The inhumanity of those in our govt and the unceasing greed of the private sector continues. We need far greater forceful regulation on the private business sector, and many more public services and guarantees to meet basic human needs regardless of income or ability to pay.

So sad. We have to keep fighting. Corporations don't have a soul. Money at all costs is what they believe in. We reject that. SOME THINGS ARE WORTH MORE THAN MONEY - SUCH AS HUMAN LIVES AND WELLBEING. This is what brutal corporate rule gives us.

If we can afford billionaires and a 1T DOD federal budget, we can afford basic services for all citizens. It's called conscience. It's called valuing human lives over money and objects.

We already have public healthcare, but only for veterans. Now there are issues with some of the VAs, but overall it's a pretty good standard of care. I know, I've used it. So have others I know, bec I'm a vet. Everyone deserves this privilege. Healthcare for All should be a fundamental principle of any humane civilized society. Everyone will need healthcare eventually - it's a need not a luxury!!! A full public system needs to be in place for everyone. No one should be left behind by a giant rip-off, extorting scam industry which the health insurance and private healthcare system is.

People have been evicted from public housing over small amounts of money owed, such as $20-80 that they just couldn't come up with. We rapidly need a conscience in this country stat.

This poor family. I hope this father sues the State of NY and Fidelius. THEY SHOWED DEPRAVED INDIFFERENCE TO HIS SON'S LIFE EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. HE MADE THE PAYMENT AND HIS PLAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN REINSTATED IMMEDIATELY! The money won't bring this man's son back, but it will help the family a little for the rest of their life. HEALTHCARE ISN'T A LUXURY GOOD. IT SHOULDN'T BE DONE FOR PROFIT. Or at a minimum, a public system needs to be in place that covers anyone who needs it regardless of cost! For those who want to use private sector healthcare fine- but we also need the choice of a public system!

Healthcare is a human right. It's just that both parties are amoral and wholly owned by the big corporations. We need a political party that puts human needs first. The red-blue uniparty grift won't do it. We are going to have to build one for ourselves. This country is very inhumane. When will come out of this amoral dark age?? Public universal not-for-profit healthcare should be the #1 priority of every state and one of the guarantees of the federal government. For comparison - ANOTHER 100B just got sent away to support the Ukraine proxy war with Russia. That's something like 300B so far at least. Of course state and federal govt(s) can pay for it, if they wanted to, they just don't want to. Human life has no value to either main political party. It will take time to build a strong Left party that puts human needs first, not private big business profit.
