@DanHowardMtl dude go home. You're just trolling and you're not trying to learn anything.

@oddsman01 hmm. Dry and funny. But why are you intentionally conflating State tyranny or fascism or repression or totalitarianism with a more Socialist economy with some communism but one that also retains a regulated private sector??

@t-poison1731 yes CEOs are more important than average workers that's all true, but they still shouldn't make 400 times more than them. I say no more than 50 times more is fair and quite generous.

@SuperJMichael Yea I'm fine with that. Need to get back to that. I'm a big lover of specifics and defined limits. Time to limit these people's compensation package.

@johnhackett6332 this makes sense to me John. I think you're right about this.

@arminius6506 I love that idea IF that means everyone's basic material needs are provided for one way or another. It's easy to live on less when everything costs less and/or public higher education is free or low-cost.

@nedhill1242 I think all this is fantastic. I respect people who refuse to give up or be stopped by hardship. I give them more respect than I'd give myself at times. I still demand Socialism 1000% and I'll be fighting for a kinder, more just, more equitable world both socially and economically until my twilight years. But I don't disagree with anything you say. But we can still have a more Socialistic economic structure where everyone has their basic material needs provided for, while still rewarding those who work the hardest with more thru a better-regulated private market. I'm a very reasonable person, I don't believe life has to be zero-sum. Outside of the sports field, nobody needs to lose. This isn't pie in the sky, it's just a better way to see the world. It takes a govt that wants to do these things, and ours most certainly does not right now, but that doesn't have to be permanent. I don't believe in win-lose, I believe in win-win or compromise on everything.

And if left to their own devices, 🌽 Pop, it never will. Hence the need for a more moral State (yeah it's possible) to help install safeguards and a more Socialistic economic model.
