  2. These people need to be slapped with animal abuse charges and this false zoo shut down. This is really shameful. Gorillas don't belong in malls. All these animals need to be re-homed to proper sanctuaries or legitimate zoos able to properly care for them. Thailand needs to step up it's animal cruelty and care laws. This shouldn't have been legal to start with. The fact the family chooses to keep her alone is appalling. Even if they interact with her at points throughout the day, that is not enough. Primates exist in large groups. They are not a solitary species. How would we like to kept alone in a small space all our lives with no one for companionship other than brief interaction with keepers??? We could see others but never touch them??? Primates are almost as smart as us - they have feelings and awareness. This essentially jail for them. C'mon Thailand govt - please shut this place down and re-home all the animals. They deserve a better life than this.
