I'm not unsympathetic to Russia's rationale for engaging in this war but if they are indeed attacking civilian electrical infrastructure that truly outrages me because it is NEVER okay to directly or indirectly attack civilians as part of any war or militarize conflict. I would criticize anybody who did this. You people are innocent bystanders in all of this and NONE of you should have to suffer or find it harder to survive because your two governments decided they wanted to have a fight. I would (and will) roundly criticize Russia if they are intentionally attacking civilian infrastructure. I would roundly attack anybody who does that- it's just WRONG. I cannot state how morally disgusted I am with any non-combatants being intentionally targeted during times of armed conflict. Anyone who does it is wrong and should be ashamed of themselves. Using civilians as convenient expendable pawns and tools to try to force your opponent's hand should be considered unacceptable. War should be a process that takes place between two armed parties and only those two or more armed parties. Any government who chooses to engage in attacks on civilians should be considered a war criminal. Anyone. Same for my government who does it all the time (USA); anyone. All military targets are on the table. All civilian targets are not. If we don't keep to this distinction with a big fat black line between them we become animals.
