  2.  @Sharper714  as far as the federal level, the Squad. Bernie and AOC. Cori Bush. A few others I can't think of the names of at the moment. I feel they are trying their best but when you're so outnumbered your power is limited. Even most of the trash corporate Dems were poised to vote on the 3.5T BBB (the "good" version, altho it still wouldn't have been nearly enough for what's needed but much better than the almost worthless bill that eventually passed); until other key corporate Democrats allowed it to be stripped down to nothing Bec of Manchin and Sinema's games. Even the CorpDems will sometimes do the right thing. Probably wont most of the time but some of them will get behind morally correct bills (so long as it's easy for them). But then because the Dems as a group are worthless, it only takes a few holdouts from within the party to sink the whole measure. If it wasn't for those DINO Deplorables, more of these good bills would pass when Dems have the majority. Other good bills are blocked by Mitch McConnell when the GOP is in the majority. Overall I agree, virtually every politician is trash. They're in it for self-enrichment and nothing else, and they don't care who they harm by what they vote or don't vote for in the process. But a few aren't; and even a good portion the mostly shit CorpDems can be pressed into doing the right thing at particular times, altho they will often cave thus rendering worthless any short-lived moments of somewhat-less-selfish-than-usual decency they might have had. Idk. It's a ridiculous system I agree. Big Money almost always rules. The only surefire solution I see is to try to get better people elected and find ways to increase the ability of the public to have a binding and significant say at all level of govt; local, state and federal.
