  4.  @WinsomeWinslet  tabbies are great. I'll always love them. I had a very soft all grey russian blue one time, she was great but definitely a princess lol. If she decided you were worth trusting eventually she would let you hold her. Now I have a sleek all black house panther and she is super adventurous and smart and friendly too. I found has outside as a stray with an injury, she got better quickly and still loves to roam outside including climb trees. She's fixed and tagged and so far only seems to go after mice. 😄 Im hoping to get her a friend soon. ☺️

  6.  @user-ho7uc7bg5o  well it's possible this bunny is very clean and has a litter box, I've heard some rabbits do, or she's just very mindful of cleaning up after him several times a day.

  9.  @Brynnthebookworm  yes. Provided the surrounding area isn't a protected natural area, it will be fine. And while it's sad if they die sooner, at least they will have had a full and happy life. It is a myth that cats devastate all birds and all rodents in an area. They may attack a few but I have never seen documentation that claims they have a significant effect beyond what the normal give and take of the area can support. Also, keep in mind not all cats roam far. Some stay close by in the yard.

  10.  @G_Demolished  that's fine, but it's a pretty safe area by me. Many cats truly love the outdoors. I'd hate not to let my cat companion(s) join me on my porch or outdoor spaces on my property or in the close vicinity. Toys, enrichment and catios are great and I hope all cat owners use them for indoor cats, but I also hope people consider allowing healthy cats a chance to just be a cat in their backyard or patio.

  12. The entire petting zoo should be should be shut down and the owners arrested and charged with many counts of animal cruelty. They should be banned from ever owning animals again in any capacity. Perhaps this beautiful person could further push the local PD to bring charges and start this process.

  14.  @Brynnthebookworm  that's ok. Healthy cats crave the outdoors. A catio is nice but it can't replace freedom to run around or get into bushes or up trees or chase birds (most of the time not catching them). Not all cats will be as active as others but most cats want to be able to move about freely in an outside space.

  15.  @Brynnthebookworm    I mean my cats are indoor and outdoor. I'm just saying I Iet them go play outside, I don't not bring them in at night or when they want to come in. They live with me. Lol Im not one of those cat-haters or anti-animal types that doesn't allow animals indoors. That's never been me. I love all my cats. They mostly live indoors but can go outside whenever they want.

  19. It's always so sad and tragic to euthanize a kitty but it has to be done in order to help the other animals at that shelter when they have limited resources and space. Of course we all wish it could be otherwise. At least that means that 60% aren't and they will go on to wonderful loving homes so we can take comfort in that.

  23. Saw a home that believe it or not was very much like this some years back. They published a small book about their home called The Cats' House. It was in San Diego. I'd love to know if they still live there. Maybe it's the same one, I'm not sure- the designs looked very, very similar. It was amazing, just like this one.

  27. I love adventure cat stories! And this buddy is such a distinguished gentleman! 😄 What a handsome fellow. The only thing I'd change here is I would take the leash off this good buddy. I'm sure this cat is smart enough not to go running off, they love their humans and most cats have good sense of direction, so I doubt that would happen. I had an adventure cat like this one time when I was living out of my car of all things. This cat was so smart. I would let her out in the morning to run around & do whatever she wanted to do and I would come back later that afternoon or evening and call her and she would be somewhere in the general vicinity and she would just come running. 😸 I had an ID tag on her and a chip so I wasn't too worried about somebody trying to take her or or getting lost. Several times a day I would let her go outside the car, morning or night, and whenever she was ready she would just come back, usually by jumping on the hood, even on the window- the window ledge we're talking about; a 1-inch wide surface at most 😄. But suddenly I'd be sitting in my car and I'd get my cat on my window, and I'd open it for her to come in..😆 Not only was she an adventure Cat she was an acrobat cat... An acrocat if you will. She's still around and living with a good friend of mine where she has plenty of space to run around whenever she wants and it's in a nice open, semi-rural area. I'll be seeing her again later this year. She's an all black sleek panther cat. Let's hear it for outdoors-loving adventure cats! They're the best! 😆🥰💖🧡🐾😸🧶

  29. I can't believe anyone wouldn't want a black kitty, my last cat was a black kitty and she was one of the sweetest, most adventurous cats I've ever had. And her coat was beautiful, she was like a sleek little panther. 😸 Cats are definitely a blessing.

  36. I doubt crabs and lobster feel pain. But it's awesome you're taking care of the bunnies. I assume they roam around the backyard? Just fyi, humans often had to eat rabbits for food. For most of human history you couldn't just go down to Walmart. They're adorable but human beings need to eat also. I wouldn't want to kill one but people who are poor and/or live in rural areas often have to rely on hunting to survive. It's not wrong to kill animals humanely for food.

  40.  @Brynnthebookworm  maybe they aren't, but they seem pretty happy. And you know I do bathe them. Well her, it's just the one right now. I understand the risks of streets but it's not very busy in the area right by me and my cat seems to understand the danger of cars. Some people are sick and would try to kill a cat but fortunately that hasn't happened by me to my knowledge. Hopefully it won't. If you're happy keeping your cats indoors that's fine but most cats can handle being outside if the area is generally safe. See some Xiedubbel videos or all those Instanbul cats.

  43. I have had a slinky black cat before and she was just like Leonard! Playful, energetic, inquisitive, loving. Maybe it's a black cat thing ha ha Leonard is so talented and lucky to have such great parents. 💞💕🐾
