Good on him for fighting back. It's a lesson to all of us- we HAVE to fight your so-called government. There's nothing ethical and moral about them. They just claim a monopoly on force to use how they will and it's never for our benefit- it's either for a big business or in this case, a fairly big business based on windmills. All they need to be is big enough to pay large enough campaign donations and the local council will kill their own mother to give them what they want.
I mean I'm all for windmills but I see no reason why he should have to abdicate his land for them. Windmills are up in the sky, he's down on the ground.... I mean they could exist literally right next to each other. You can put a windmill literally up to his property line and I doubt he would mind. I don't see how his being there gets in the windmills way, first of all. Secondly did the women company even consider making him a cash offer in order to play some windmills on the parts of his property that he isn't planning on using very much?? Maybe they should just buy the portions of his property that he may decide he no longer wants or needs? But no much easier to just force them off right. Why do things the RIGHT way when you could just as easily ruin someone's life out of pure spite and love of evil?????? Clearly they wanted to do things the evil way when the right way would actually have been much easier and possibly cheaper for them in the the long run. The natural evil, criminality, nastiness, and savagery of government persons and bigger business bosses never ceases to amaze me.
This whole saga was insane, unnecessarily cruel, and criminal and I'm sure there will be no real consequences to those council members. Perhaps they won't be re-elected but that'll be about it. When it's convenient for them I'm sure they'll try it again to the next guy who may not have the willingness or the resolve to fight back feeling it's hopeless, which almost never is. ALWAYS ALWAYS FIGHT BIG BROTHER- ALWAYS! THEY ARE JUST OTHER GANGSTERS WHO DON'T CARE IF YOU LIVE OR DIE. ALWAYS FIGHT. THIS MAN DID EXACTLY RIGHT! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! GO DOWN FIGHTING IF YOU HAVE TO! BUT FIGHT! GOVERNMENT = EVIL. ALWAYS! THEY DON'T EXIST FOR US; THEY ARE HENCHMEN FOR BIG BUSINESS, ALWAYS!!!
They're just gangsters who clothe themselves in white gloves and business offices. Don't think for one second these monsters are any different, in fact in some cases they're much worse, than so-called street gangs or organized crime. How is this any less organized or less criminal than traditional "organized crime"? Seems plenty criminal and organized to me.
They have an unnecessary or harmful agenda that they're willing to use any level of necessary violence to achieve with no thought of the consequences of any innocent party harmed by such. Sounds just like the operation of a criminal enterprise to me.
There's another word for that, psychopathy. I mean at least they could have made him a cash offer equal to fair market value , or even above fair market value, for his property and all the buildings on it; they didn't even try that. They wanted this kind decent man to walk away with NOTHING, after he paid for the property, bought it legally and put his blood sweat and tears into the place. What absolute dog shit subhuman filth. Sadly his story is not unique. Land grabbing from single households and small communities via State monsters acting on behalf of big money interests is as old as time, and it's repeated all over the globe every day. It's because ultimately they have a traitorous psychopath army of brown shirts (police) that will do their will and what do we have? The courts which are frequently corrupt, bought off or rigged to the high heavens. Without a People's Army to defend our interests if push comes to shove, we are always at a massive disadvantage to government interests- always. And yet our tax dollars pay for those very same brown shirts, or in the US the Blue shirts, that would turn around and shoot us dead at a moment's notice. Ain't that a peach? So much do people love their slavery they spit out ignorant slogans like "back the blue" and "blue lives matter", I guess never noticing that those same Blue lives they're crawling on the ground for are virtually all psychopaths who wouldn't hesitate to harm or kill that person if a judge or a governor or a mayor told them to. Let push comes to shove and then these bootlicking slaves will see where the Blue shirts/Brown shirts' loyalty really lies.. and hint! It aint with us! Truer words were never spoken if I do say so myself.
I am very glad and gratified to see that this kind decent man won his rights which should have been respected from the get-go and he shows exactly what you need to do when targeted by government tyrants and criminals. Stand your ground, know that you've done nothing wrong and fight to the death.
I mean he wasn't doing anything wrong with the property, he bought it fair and square there isn't any gray area here. That should have been the end of it. The windmill company could have offered to buy a portion of his land but if he refused then that's it.
I appreciate that that judge was so humane and relatively decent with him. That's how you handle a situation like this, I only wish there were more like him, but I have a deplorable opinion on judges here. Typically here I found, they're just more psychopathic tyrants like these council persons. They're all cut from the same cloth I have found. But every once in a while one of conscience actually makes it onto the bench, amazingly.
Shame on the jury for treating him like a criminal and playing into the evil hands of these council filth. If they were the ones being targeted I think their tune would have changed fast.
Very very illuminating, ultimately inspirational and unfortunately necessary story.
Also can I just say that it is amazing that local jails in Britain have TVs inside the cell. And did he say a coffee maker as well? What the literal heck?!? Wow now that's a cell I'd like to be in good gosh. ALL cells should be like that, anywhere, well regarding the TV at least. That way if they confine you in your cell for extended periods of time you're not losing your mind. I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone that the conditions in jails and prisons stateside are barbaric, medieval and typically shameful. There are some places where inmates can have a TV inside their cell but it varies. In local county jails I've never seen that- you're limited to the one in the common room so if you're stuck inside your cell, justly or unjustly, you either need a book, a puzzle or good imagination. If you don't have either of those then the mental torture begins. Torture is what American authorities love to do to those trapped in the system so you know- it's by that way by design in almost all cases.
