I love raw milk, no processing. Provided you consume it before it goes bad it's so good for you. Has all the good stuff that gets cooked out in modern processes. I have to imagine its ok for babies too bec traditionally I know that babies were supplemented with animals' milk. Usually you have to find it at a natural foods store or a local farmer. Some states make it illegal, which is nonsense. It's just bec Commercial Dairy doesn't want the competition.

@AandM8 have you considered the la leche league? I think they help supply new moms with breastmilk or formula.

@Mkay999 since none of these people profiled in this segment seemed poor I would agree with you. It never hurts to be prepared. I'm sure some of them could have stocked up more before this happened. Government failed them but by the same token you can always help yourself provided you're not flat broke by stocking up.

@AandM8 yes it is, isn't it? That shouldn't be the case, should it???? Corporate greed strikes again! Formula should not be held behind a paywall. It's not a luxury. That's something that should either be given out freely or it should be part of WIC, with anyone who needs it being able to qualify. I'm just agreeing with you that formula should not be costly.
