  1.  @JD.727  take your landlord to court until he starts doing his job. He's slumloading, and if the politicians cared about renters and not just a landlords slumlording would be a chargeable crime. Put the rent in escrow. Seek help thru legal aid. Come up with a list of demands to give your landlord. Tell him if he doesn't reply you're taking him to court. Seek help through local tenant support groups.

  2.  @JD.727  she did. Document everything. Take photos, make a video diary. Send her a firm email or letter. Demand she stop slumlording and fix the problems. Place the rent in escrow. By what right should she get paid when she's not holding up her end of the bargain???? Good luck my guy, let me know how it goes. I'll check for updates. She can't claim she can't afford to make the repairs because that's what the goddamn rent is for that she's been getting up until now.

  6.  @coolgirl1617  sleeping outside harms no one it's not a crime! few people choose to become homeless but it happens through a lot of bad luck and insufficient safety net programs. I've had to live out of my car several times in my adult life. don't worry you live through it one day and then you'll question why you were this way. You might as well make liking bananas a crime too. what else is going to be criminalize these days because this is all madness. Liking caterpillars? Hopping on one foot? Wearing jeans with rips in them? cuz I guess that's where we're headed now where literally every aspect of existence is a crime these days.
