@politereminder6284 ha ha ha adoptoraptors...... That's too hilarious. If you came up with that yourself that's a good one! 😆 Do you think they mean well tho, and they can't wrap their head around the fact a family is waiting to take that child back?? Maybe people lose perspective because they want to see themselves as a savior to a child??

@jonghun8468 since they seem to be religious I wonder if their attitude is that their purpose (as given to them by God) is to rescue abused and neglected children and so they foster with the intent to do a permanent adoption, which is admirable, but in this case I guess Lexie had living relatives that wanted her and so they couldn't do that here. I'm making a lot of assumptions of course. So they tried to stave off the return as long as they could I guess. Just my guess. It does seem questionable if they didn't go and visit her when they had the opportunity when they were told they could but that her related family didn't want the cameras. So did they end up never coming to visit her after she was removed and placed with her biological relatives then?

@jonghun8468 well I'm happy to hear that. If they truly want to love and adopt a child or children out of foster care that's wonderful, we need more of that, but they shouldn't have tried to force that here, when they were told she had capable family that wanted her. They could have saved their efforts for children who genuinely needed a permanent home. They even got their neighbors involved who I'm sure meant well but didn't have all the facts. That is rather selfish. If you truly love a child you want what is best for them, in this case that would have been reunification with their relatives. Well maybe in the time since the foster family has had time to reflect and realize they were wrong in how they handled this situation. Maybe they learned from this event and haven't done it with any other fosters, if they had any. Well I hope so. But anyhow I'm glad to hear this little girl bounced back quickly and sounds like she's doing fine now.

@jonghun8468 oh wow. Has the Foster family tried to maintain ties with her or asked about her? Cuz they claim here that they loved her very much and didn't want to let her go.

@jonghun8468 wow. That's a real shame. I mean if they loved her as much as they claimed to you think they would have at least called about her. I mean they sure put on the show of the heartbroken family here. I don't want to call them scammers because it's possible they did really love her but seems a bit odd that they never tried to contact her or talk to her even once after this considering that they had those options.

@politereminder6284 why do you think this family went out of their way to try to keep her when they knew that initially it was just supposed to be a temporary placement? Is it that they don't think her biological family will be able to take proper care of her and so they feel their intervening for the child's day? I'm just curious. Anyhow the other person states that Lexie is very happy and safe now with her biological relatives and I hope that's true. If this family wanted to adopt a child from foster care it seems that there's plenty of opportunities to do that but that this wasn't one of them. Did they know from the beginning that she had relatives that wanted her back?

@jamesketchum2820 maybe she doesn't know how to find them? Don't you think you're being a little rude?
