I lost my brother to brain cancer at a very young age. He was six and I was three. Sometimes it's hard to remember him, but I remember being told that one day he had to go away to heaven and see Jesus and that we wouldn't see him for a long time but one day we would see him again. I was so young that I remember not being too sad about it, and believing my parents, but I did miss never seeing him again after that. That was 38 years ago. I can only imagine how far medical technology has come in that time and yet sadly not yet far enough. My deepest condolences go out to this family. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child especially one so young. I know they will carry him in their hearts always. The little sister won't know him but will see pictures of him and wonder what he was like and will think of him from time to time and wish they could have known each other. That's how it was with me.
