@ivyvanderwall well as long as you dont use it for everything and you don't do it too hard and really only when nothing else is working. There is a difference btwn discipline and abuse so long as the discipline is fair and reasonable and done with love.

Maybe she has bipolar and isn't on her meds. It's possible. This is definitely not acceptable behavior tho. Screaming at passengers and staff isn't going to help you get your way.

@meganproffitt424 no but bipolar is. People do act inappropriately due to lack of internal self-regulation mechanisms, which bipolarity can certainly cause. She was out of line, but I also don't see why it was necessary to kick her off just for holding her dog in her lap. Maybe that's the third or fourth time they've asked her in which case I can understand, but if it's only the first time I don't see why the flight attendant can't just tell her to put him in the case and if she complies then it's fine. Maybe she'd already refused by the time this video started. Anyway she's clearly inappropriate but she could simply be an unstable person. Sometimes people act out of pocket simply because they have physical issues in their brains.

@meganproffitt424 I'm not trying to denigrate anyone's experience. I'm just trying to explain perhaps she has an actual condition and just not bad manners. Im not excusing her behavior regardless of the reason.
