  5.  @harrylazard805  Trump's people set this all up. Don't believe me? Look it up. I don't know what's happened since January but the Trump admin three Afghanistan under the bus starting in 2019. For some evil reason they wanted the Taliban im charge so they did everything possible to weaken Afghanistan and freed 5000 Taliban from prison. What happened next was planned. Afghan forces fought the best they could but according to my information, they were screwed. They didn't have enough ammo or food thanks to the US and when they turned to US forces for backup they were already gone. We (US govt) literally stabbed them in the back and cut their legs out from under them on the way out. We MADE Afghanistan fall to the Taliban. I say our govt, possibly Biden too, is completely to blame for this. It sounds to me like Afghanistan was completely crippled and set up for this, which would make it our fault, not theirs. Look up the info- it's starting to leak out.

I think I heard it from Randi Rhodes on FSTV (I watch on Sling, also YT), altho it may have been Thom Hartmann; that when Trump decided that it would be a great idea to betray the regular Afghans and do a secret deal with the Taliban, he then put the screws to the Kabul govt thru harsh sanctions to release 5000 Taliban prisoners that were currently being held. The president, I forgett his name, understandably did not want to do this. Then he pressured the Pakistan govt to release the #1 Taliban commander. Then when the various scattered Afghani fighting forces tried to fight off the Taliban for weeks before the US left, apparently according to this info, they had next to food, were starving, and lacked proper weapons and ammo. I don't know what our people were doing while this was happening. Supposedly this happened at points throughout last year and this year. I'm going to continue to try to get more info on this. Right now it looks like our govt, under Trump and maybe Biden idk, COMPLETELY set Afganistan up to have no choice but to be overpowered by the Taliban esp when instead of giving all our arms and weapons to the Afghans before we left, it sounds like they ended up directly into Taliban hands. I don't know if our people were ordered to give them to the Taliban or simply leave them unsecured to be taken by whoever got there first. It's all incredible to me because after all we've done over there, to be informed that we wouldn't do everything in our power to make sure at least that the Afgans had all our gear and the best possible chance to defend themselves; when now it seems like just the opposite, is something that I find so unbelievable. And also, if any of this is true, how much did Biden and the new admin have to do with this??? Anyhow I'm trying to find more information and corroboration on this as I go.

According to sources I believe, the Taliban said they could easily get to and deliver bin laden just a few months after 9/11, in exchange for being left alone. But that didn't work into Darth Rumsfelds war plans. Going after OBL was the only thing that would have been certain to sell the war to millions of gullible American citizens (I live here, so I remember). The WMD lie was the ruse for Iraq and the Bin Laden and Al Queda lie was the Big Lie that got people to blindly wave the flag and not ask questions and support going into Afganistan. So the top Pentagon officials pretended not to know anything about OBLs wherebouts for 10 years until Obama finally decided to go after him for real, so that they could start and continue a forever war for as long as it takes. And while it was an outrage to pull another disgusting Vietnam and we never should have been there en masse bec we could have most likely gotten OBL by early 2002; I don't support leaving them in the clutches of the Taliban either! If we weren't going to remove the Taliban then we should have either never gone or left after OBLs capture- but no war, no billions and billions of dollars from and to the US govt and the Pentagon and it's big corporate buddies wouldn't want that so, here we still are. At this point, as we have clearly never even tried to rout the Taliban, we should reverse course and go back and get RID of them by any means necessary. They ARE domestic terrorists and nutjobs. I can't possibly accept that the majority of Afganistan wants those wackjobs to be in power. No I don't believe that to be true at all. Therefore WE must go back and do something moral for a change and liberate that country FROM the savage Taliban who I'm sure have no intention of supporting human rights and GENDER EQUALITY, OH RIGHT yeah right! If a spouse or children are forcibly confined to a home even if they aren't necessarily harmed in other ways that's still very wrong (and we don't know if emotional abuse or gaslighting didn't occur here), especially for the spouse as they are adults.

  14. I believe Trump or people directly under him ordered it. He made a traitorous deal to do everything possible so the Taliban could take back over and they did. If you don't believe me I have a great deal of further information for you. He openly and, for reasons currently still unknown, completely betrayed the civilian Afghan govt that we, the US, had helped put together and been dealing with Day 1. Now here comes Trump and for reasons still publicly unknown destroys all of that, and Biden for his part, let it stand. If we were going to withdraw, and at some point we were, all hardware and weapons should have been immediately turned over to the Afghanis so they could keep themselves free from the Taliban so this exact disastrous outcome would not have happened. It isn't just that the Afghanis didn't do their part, they did the best they could, but between 2019-2020 Trump went to extreme lengths by all accounts to harm them and help the Tallybons. Why?????? I don't know. I have three theories tho and if you want to know more let me know and I'll go into more detail.

The rest of the time we never should have been there as the Iraqi people suffered unimaginable losses thanks to us and that's a whole other very ugly ball of wax. That's the reason Bush Jr. and every past and former senior CIA official and some special forces members are going to burn in hell for several eternities. Most of our pathologically evil and indiscriminate crimes against humanity occurred in Iraq. I don't blame the average service-member for what happened over there, most of the rank and file are good people who have a conscience and would never intentionally target civilians or commit a war crime. Almost everything we did outside of directly combating ISIS in Iraq was a war crime. There are still a few unlucky souls lefts in Guantanamo that our satanic government refuses to release, for no reason at all. If there's a single organization outside of ISIS and Boko Haram who belong in the deepest depths of hell, it's the CIA. Iraqi insurgents (not ISIS, just average citizens) had every right to target us, we invaded their country without permission and they didn't know why. They saw us as the enemy and a threat and who can blame them?? Everyone has the right to defend against outside aggression into their homeland. For this, they were relentlessly targeted by some our personnel mostly CIA and subject to unlawful imprisonment in some cases for years and in some cases torture. The only thing we EVER should have done in Iraq was depose or kill Saddam and his sons, because they were very violent evil people and they deseved it. After that was over, we should have left, or stayed on just long enough to supervise a stable transfer of power. As far as ISIS, if and when they ever developed after that we could always return, but to my knowledge they did not exist in 2005. I agree, Afganistan is a much different issue and situation than the infinite black hole of evil and destruction we brought to Iraq. It's actually a much simpler story, in a way.

It's too bad but it's fact of life in the enlisted ranks unfortunately, esp with as lopsided a sex ratio as there is. Im sure I saw some of that in the navy too, altho overall I'd say it wasn't too bad. I always tried to pull my weight, I don't recall any time I ever tried to ask for special treatment or exceptions. Eh, I hope not at least. I remember doing quite a few working parties and I wasn't worried about getting my hands dirty which happened quite a bit as our job was mostly maintenance and repair.

  52.  @dbsti3006  I know it looks that way to you and I wouldn't call myself and expert at this issue but I have tried to gather a lot of info about it, and I know you're probably not going to go deeper with it but if you ever get more curious about the situation do feel free to just watch that channel and related videos on the TELESUR channel and see how that information strikes you. They address those points in their videos. The claims that the presenters make have jived with the other sources I have read, listened to or watched over the years; so as of right now I consider them to be credible. Personally I don't see it as a religious issue really. It frequently gets portrayed that way but it's not really about Jews versus Muslims per se, but based on what I've gathered it's a conflict between the Zionist Israeli govt who wants a Jewish ethno-state; and any Arabs, Muslims, or anyone else they identify with the Palestinian territories. Meanwhile, predecesors of these same Zionists began settling in Palestine in increasing numbers since the 1920s, which in and of itself probably would have been fine, but with the backing of the UK in 1948, they launched an all-out offensive against Palestine for total control of the region. The rest of the non-jewish persons and occupants of Palestine mostly lost that conflict. And they have been at various levels of war and conflict ever since. Yes there are Muslims/Arabs who live and travel freely within Israel as you mention but to my knowledge they maintain a secondhand legal status (sometimes called apartheid) and the status and treatment of other Arabs by Israeli govt forces throughout the Palestinian region and outside of Israel's official borders is highly oppressive and frequently violent. I don't expect you to watch the other videos but there's a lot more details there if you're ever interested.

It will show you just how much the Taliban are NOT wanted in Afghanistan rural area or no. They only really hit their stride in the late '80s. And it may surprise you to learn how stable and developed and NORMAL it used to be. The rural areas had some issues but once the country is restored, they too come come out of the dark ages. Also someone made a perfect comment, we have permanent military bases elsewhere, far more than we should, but nonetheless, until the Taliban were weakened or neutralized or crushed if necessary, or no longer a threat for the long-term, we could have stayed on as long as was necessary. Germany is a leading nation and we still have a base there. That's not to support Germany as they are more than capable of supporting themselves but it's a base that's been around for decades and nobody seems to think anything of it. Nobody talks about the US as "occupying" Germany. Now Japan is different. I'm pretty sure the people want us gone and therefore we should leave. But that's a seperate subject. My point is that unless most of the Afghan people wanted us gone, in which case we should go, but I don't believe that's true, we could have stayed indefinitely or until the full mission was done. And we still can. Biden can end this madness at any time.

There's at least 100,00 probably both Afghan and US families who lost someone to this conflict. But leaving now while Trump's admin reportedly went so far as to cripple the Afghan government and whatever army they have so the Taliban can be assured of a victory, makes a mockery of all their deaths, and is a betrayal of the highest order. What's another few years after 20 if that's what it takes?? Why not neutralize the Taliban threat forever by waging war directly on them instead of standing by for the last 20 years while the Afghani forces primarily did so? If the Taliban were fully eliminated one way or another the entire country could get back to developing in peace and the people of Afghanistan could learn how to be independent again. That would be the time to leave, to me, but not now. And the 5000 released prisoners including the top commander? All service people are there by their own choice. They agreed to take that posting. If we're there for another decade so what?? It's not like our soldiers stay there the whole time. They are constantly rotated out. The only thing I disagree with is the practice of multiple postings to a war zone unless a service member specifically requests and consents to it. But I don't know how much that happens anymore. That was a terrible problem thanks the thugs on Pentagon Hill under the Bush administration.
