  1. NOBODY has the right to force anyone to do or wear ANYTHING for any reason. It's literally a case of basic human rights and each human being's right to choose for themselves. No religiofascists of ANY variety should EVER have a voice in government, because that is theocracy and very quickly leads to religiofascist subjugation, which the middle east is absolutely rife with sadly thanks to the fascism and core misogyny of Islam. That being said, I'm sure this incident is being co-opted to the maximum level possible by US interests for their usual regime-change goals (where I happen to live). Both realities can definitely be true here and I believe they are.

  2. Women today have less rights in Iran than they did prior to 1979 before the religious tyrants took over. THAT needs to change NOW. That being said, the US govt is an absolute CRIMINAL for their crimes against the people of Iran, committed since at least 1953 and they continue today thru sanctions. These sanctions are vile and unjust and should be illegal under international law. Sanctions are never justified for any reason in my book.
