  1. ​@Azdeus but you do have a human right to protect your life and health and if your company won't respect that they deserve to be held accountable. It's up to you what kind of risks you want to take with your health but it's not worth it. Is your life expendable? Do you matter?? You should threaten to report them to OSHA and the FTC like the other person says until they get proper respiratory and safety gear in place. Its pure evil what companies do to people in this country. They see you as a disposable object. We are told this is okay. IT ISN'T!! Its unacceptable. Don't let them. Don't accept it!! Walk away if you have to. Don't take it! Your life and your future health matters. We only get one body in this lifetime. If we wreck it it's a very very hard to fix it!!

  2. ​ @CRT.v  I can understand about the heat making it very uncomfortable, but jesus, I mean this is today's coal dust. Those dumbasses are going to be in for a nasty surprise one day. Why don't people care about themselves? Hardcore masks exist, and they should be mandatory for everyone. They're not going to like their medical bills in 20 years.

  7. I think it would be prudent to just ban all consumer use/single-use plastics other than perhaps a limited few. I'm pretty sure microplastic buildup will be shown to be a significant health risk in the future and cutting back on plastic production is the only effective way to really deal with this problem. I'll certainly hold my breath bec as we all know, money means nothing in politics only what's best for humanity, so I'm sure our wise leaders will get right on this.

  8. I'm pretty sure I'm about half plastic at this point. Hard to avoid in today's plastic-soaked world. Everyday I feel I lose a little bit more of myself to the plastic overlords. What I DON'T love about it is how it doesn't help me make any extra purchases. Believe me, I've tried. I feel gypped.
