@devi1sdoz3n maybe. But all this sh*t is at the forefront, we don't really know until we start trying it out. Who can say for certain is someone travels at FTL speed, time for them is going to pass differently than time for somebody back on Earth? Maybe it's true, maybe it's all impossible and I'm far from an Einstein, but I don't see how increasing speed to a very fast speed changes how "time" passes. I'm sure one day we'll know for sure.

@101Mant ok... Well idk... No I don't necessarily understand it and I wonder if it will turn out one day to not be true or at least to have something different about it than we thought... Oh well maybe more will be revealed in the future..

Sure it seems crazy and the stuff of science-fiction now but who knows what's going to exist in the next 200 years? Yeah I think we'll get there eventually.

Well I would assume that real types of starship shields would have to be created. I don't know if it's possible but yes, assuming this technology could one day exist then that is what would protect the craft, yes?
