@danielghorayeb2263 I know-
1
@JH-fk8ow they probably do. We could probably increase the difficulty of a lot of the curriculum in our classrooms here for most students, and I'm sure some educators would like to try that, but those standards are set by each state (California, etc), and as far as I know, a real bitch to get changed. I do tend to agree with you tho, we probably are under-estimating most students' abilities.
1
@dendanny that would be a very interesting chart to view. I would love to see a current chart of all major developed countries analyzed on those metrics.

@etan... a true Chad

That's a question no one can answer. Maybe the universe is infinite, although that thought makes me very uncomfortable, lol.
1
That's pretty much what I figured. I mean why would it change speeds based on direction, unless there's a good physical cause?? But I haven't watched the whole video yet so I'm gonna do that now. But I don't see why light would spontaneously change its speed from one part of a journey to the next.
1
Hmmmm, I don't believe that...
1
Yeah but I mean... What do you really know bruh?? Do you even know (stuff) bro? I didn't think so.
1
Makes sense to me. Are not EMFs all around us??? I might have had it backwards, I thought an electric current created an electric field, but I have always recognized intuitively that um, "fields" of energy exist all around us, and more specifically around technical equipment.
1
I guess you can't "prove" 1+1= 2 because "two" is literally defined as "a grouping of one and one more". Maybe I'm too dense, but I don't see how it's possible to prove a basic definition. We just say "this means that" and go from there. Like if 1 + 1 = a "blarg", instead of "two". A blarg would heretofore simply mean "one and another one in the same location", because we said it did, and it's easier than saying "one and one more" all the time. But what does my non-mathatical genius ass know?? These impressive fellas apparently did prove this basic assumption and it only took them a book to do it. Lol Basically advanced math is a mind trip.
1
I am no genius I am pretty damn average and yet if possible I always try to evaluate things intuitively and visually first. I am not sure if I could have proven it mathematically, but I did my best to do a visual trace out in my brain of the smaller circle rotating along the outer edge of the bigger circle, point by point, and I came up with four complete rotations as the most likely answer given my visualization ability. Although if I was taking this test as a teenager I probably would have been very stumped not seeing it there as a possible answer and probably would have defaulted to three, assuming that that must be right, as that is the factor between the two circumferences and I must have imagined the gear travel incorrectly in my head. I doubt I would have had the confidence to stick by my intuitive grasp of this problem and write to the SAT makers as these kids did.
1
I'm not worried. I believe we'll have FTL travel someday.
1
@zilfondel lol. I hate people who wait til the last minute. Shoulda started 10 years before at least. Poor planning!
