  1. I guess you can't "prove" 1+1= 2 because "two" is literally defined as "a grouping of one and one more". Maybe I'm too dense, but I don't see how it's possible to prove a basic definition. We just say "this means that" and go from there. Like if 1 + 1 = a "blarg", instead of "two". A blarg would heretofore simply mean "one and another one in the same location", because we said it did, and it's easier than saying "one and one more" all the time. But what does my non-mathatical genius ass know?? These impressive fellas apparently did prove this basic assumption and it only took them a book to do it. Lol Basically advanced math is a mind trip.
