@heathercole7564 anyone who can willingly test on any animal other than rats has gotta be a sociopath, or near to one. It's cruel to keep an aware animal in a cage and use it to experiment on. Sadly there are too many of those scum floating around the world. Testing anything on mice or non-rat species should definitely be banned. Other animal species are just too perceptive and too sentient. They don't deserve to suffer like that.

@MustafarRecRoom FF is evil but I'm a hypocrite too and still eat meat. We need to ban factory farming. I'm willing to pay more for the meat I consume. It's possible to raise a large number of animals humanely it just costs more and that's why these evil corps won't do it.

@boozy8659 I'm fine with rats being used but nothing else. I guarantee most research does not need animal testing. Again rats should be sufficient. Anything more complex than that is sentient and sensitive and therefore it's wrong.

@MustafarRecRoom oh yeah no doubt. I need to start doing that. I hate to be contributing to factory farming but I'm not willing to forgo animal products. I want to start sorting my food from local and small farms.

@titovalasques I agree Communism and Socialism is much better but I do believe that a market can be ok so long as it's heavily regulated. If Labor is protected by strict Labor laws all of this could be avoided.

@titovalasques that's true, money itself is a problem, but getting rid of money entirely isn't going to happen anytime soon. Having a strictly socialist economy that protects Labor, that has a lot of controls on the private market, that makes it possible for workers to own their own enterprises should they wish to do so is the next best alternative in my book.

@lovelifenotloathelife it's because US corps are evil and don't care. it is possible to run a slaughterhouse safely and properly for both animals and workers but US corps would rather cut corners because they don't care about anything other than maximizing the bottom line.

@titovalasques yes it's bad and I oppose all that. So now what? Can I choose not to use a smartphone at this point in time? That seems difficult given my present goals. The problem is not that devices exist it's about how the raw materials are sourced and produced for these devices.

@Boogerboys1990 I have to respectfully disagree. There is such a thing as a very fast humane slaughtering. Small farmers and hunters do it every day. Big Business could do it too if they chose to but they don't care because the decision makers in those firms don't have souls. Money is their only god and they always want more. Their assembly lines routinely malfunction and don't always kill the animals upon first pass. This is because they are set to move too fast and mistakes inevitably occur.

All animal testing on anything besides rats and mice needs to be federally illegal!!! All higher order animals are sensitive and intelligent and can feel and therefore suffer! This cruelty needs to stop!
