  19.  @NtshTB  lol nah. I don't know if you're just kidding but yt only started in 2006. I'm just goofing around. I first came on in 2013 but tragically one by one all my accounts started getting chopped by the crazy algorithm, and each time I got the same paint-by-numbers form response "your account has been found to be in violation of multiple community guidelines. You will not be able to post again or create any other YouTube accounts. If you wish to appeal this decision you may go to (website)." Somebody up top was telling people to just start deleting accounts for literally no reason. You get one flag to your comment, they claimed it was many, and boom! your account is just gone. It looks like that phase is over now thank God but yeah it was outrageous. They ended up killing ALL my old accounts one by one. They never ever showed me the comments that they claimed were in violation, they never responded to ANY of my questions. I don't even think a human ever saw a single one of my appeals. I think this was all done automatically. Instead of just deleting the comments that they claimed were in violation they literally just killed the entire account. My account could have been 99.9% superpositive friendly and social, with mostly innocent comments that no one could take offense to but because I made ONE comment where I had a strong opinion usually on a political issue that may have gotten flagged (which I still don't know if it did or didn't) then I would end up receiving the dreaded error message and my account page being completely blanked out the next day. Ofc I always tried to appeal them but I highly doubt they made it to a physical person, no doubt getting lost in the mighty online void where all complaints and appeals from users or creators goes to die. It's too bad I never knew anybody who worked at YouTube, no doubt they could have undid all of these for me. It just ridiculous. I don't know who these instructions were coming down from but it was pretty disgusting and shameful. From 2018-2021 I lost my entire YouTube history due to this. I did try to be more careful but you never knew how aggressive they were going to be. I made a comment that I didn't think was too objectionable and next thing I know the next morning I try to log on and my accounts gone. I truly hope whoever was responsible for this got fired and isn't allowed to work for youtube or google again. There was just no reason to take anything to this level. There's a simple thing called deleting the offending comment and then sending a message to the account holder why it was deleted. It's really sad for me because my accounts take me back to an earlier time in my life and held a lot of memories for me. Ever since YouTube got taken over by Google it's just been so shamefully and poorly managed. It's really sad. If there were an alternative platform that was as popular or well-used I would switch in a jiffy. To their credit they seem like they've stopped this but the damage has already been done to users like me. All my old accounts prior to April of 2021 are gone and I don't think there's any way to get them back, and it was destructive malicious and totally unnecessary. I don't know who was ultimately responsible for but I say shame on them. What they do now is what they should have been doing back then. Censorship is annoying but it's better than losing your entire account. There have been times when I've been banned from posting for up to a day because they claim I said something that was in violation. I have many of my comments which are completely non-critical not post all the time I'm just used to it by now. It's annoying but it's no big deal and I can deal with it. If they were trying to delete bad accounts that only advocated for negative things, then they really miss the mark with me because my accounts were overwhelmingly positive and politically neutral. Plus I'm just a user I don't have any content so I don't see why YouTube's employees were told to go out of their way to delete user accounts. It's just really unkind and destructive for no reason. I'm just thankful that absolute bullshit is over now
