It seemed like it was going to be great forever because it came out strong and stayed strong but wouldn't you know, it couldn't help itself. Right around season 5 he jumped the shark and it's been downhill ever since. Really disappointing. But hey at least there's always seasons 1-4.

As a something-something year-old woman now watching that show now and trying to get through it and remembering what a sad simp I was for the show in 1997 thru 2003ish, there's just too much cringe to handle. Part of me still enjoys it the same way I did back then, and the other part just wants to turn it off for how cringe-tastic it is. Teen-demo-based shows can be really hard to watch in the same way 20 years later

@IsmailofeRegime bro that is the opposite of me. I absolutely love the first two seasons and I'll nerd fight anybody who says otherwise. There's only one episode in the entire Star trek universe that just left me scratching my head why? it was actually going well in the first half and then it ended up extremely weird and I honestly have no idea what the writers were thinking and also how it got cleared to air. It literally made no sense. It was just some weirdness for the sake of weirdness.
